According to USA Today for today, the word "booty" is being taken out of the new English editions of the Catholic Bible. Instead, the word "spoils" is going to be used.

I just thought that was funny. XD

They're also taking out "virgin" in "The virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel." Instead, they're going to use "young woman."

They're also changing the title of the story called "The Ideal Wife" to "Poem on the Woman of Worth." And apparently it'll be good for women nowadays who will want to be "measured by their accomplishments, not in the terms of the husband's perspective" (according to Mary Elizabeth Sperry of the Bishops Conference).

I found this all very interesting, how they're changing things to suit the modern culture, sort of.
